What is ServSafe Manager?
ServSafe Manager Certification is a food safety training and certification program for food service managers. The program is developed and administered by the National Restaurant Association and is designed to teach food service managers the proper procedures for storing, preparing, and serving food in a safe and sanitary manner in order to prevent foodborne illness. The certification is achieved by passing an exam and is valid for five years.
